Route 9 daagse Groepsrondreis Highlights of Ancient Greece

Discover the treasures of Ancient Greece: a world-famous collection of architectural wonders built in the name of the classical gods. On this culture-rich trip, we visit the highlights, including: the Acropolis in Athens; Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games; and Delphi, where the ancient heaven and earth met. At the same time, we cover a large part of the mainland, including the Peloponnese peninsula and central Greece, enjoying beautiful coastlines, forests and mountains.

  1. Dag 1 - Start Athens
  2. Dag 2 - Morning walking tour of Athens, including the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and Plaka; afternoon free to explore Athens
  3. Dag 3 - To Nafplio, visiting Ancient Corinth and Mycenae en route
  4. Dag 4 - Visit the Acropolis of Ancient Tiryns, then Ancient Epidaurus
  5. Dag 5 - Morning visit to the Fortress of Palamidi; explore Mystras
  6. Dag 6 - Depart for Pylos, visiting Ancient Messene en route. Visit the Castle of Pylos
  7. Dag 7 - Visit the Mycenaean Palace of Nestor; explore Ancient Olympia, the site of the first Olympic Games
  8. Dag 8 - Explore the World Heritage site of Delphi
  9. Dag 9 - Easy morning in Delphi; visit Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio; airport drop off
