This trip begins in the cave town of Matera, treasured by film directors and protected by UNESCO, before continuing to the highlights of the region: the Itria Valley hills, the white city of Ostuni, and the fairytale trulli houses of Alberobello.

  1. Dag 1 - Start Matera
  2. Dag 2 - Short walk in Matera’s Rock Churches Park and guided sightseeing in Sassi district; wine and produce tasting
  3. Dag 3 - Walk in the outskirts of Matera exploring prehistoric caves and rock villages
  4. Dag 4 - Morning visit to the white city of Ostuni; afternoon walk through olive groves and vineyards; visit Agnano Archaeological Park
  5. Dag 5 - Free day. Optional activities include visiting the baroque city of Lecce or the picture-perfect coastal village of Polignano a Mare
  6. Dag 6 - Morning walk to the coast; free time at the beach (in season) and transfer to the UNESCO town of Alberobello
  7. Dag 7 - Walk over the Itria Valley hills; visit Locorotondo, known for its superb wine
